A Snap Bayonet Flintlock Pistol by Spencer

Description: .65 caliber, 9" smoothbore octagon barrel. Pistol is fitted with a folding triangular snap bayonet which is mounted on the top flat with a sliding lock on the tang and a roller equipped spring. Two proofmarks on the upper left side. Light decorative engraving equipped lock is marked "SPENCER" and feature a sliding half-cock safety, waterproof pan and roller frizzen spring. The walnut stock with flattened sides on the grip (cracked forestock). Original ramrod with iron bullet puller. London, beginning of 19th century, length 36 cm. condition 2
