Hussar Officers´ Sabre

Description: Curved blade à la Montmorency (slightly pitted and stained) is etched with a crescent moon and sun symbol and text "Andre Donlabon ...." on the obverse side. The reverse side marked "Potsdam". The pommel is in the shape of a lion´s head, a simple knuckle bow with cross-pieces and with leather grip cover. South Germany or Austria, middle of the 18th century, length 94.5 cm. Condition 2
