Cased Drawing Instrument Set with a Pair Percussion Pocket Pistols

Description: A three-layer wooden storage box covered with leather and inlaid with violet velvet. A pair of percussion pocket pistols with brass barrels in 10 mm calibre (one lock needs repair) inside in lower part of the box. Belgian proof marks on barrels. Accessories include an oil flask, iron ball mould and piston box. Drawing equipment with dividers (steel/brass), a pen and pencil holders, linen tester etc. in superior part of the box. A remnants of original paper label glued to the inside of the lid. United States, Fred A. Schmidt, Washington D.C., 2nd half of 19th century, dimensions 18 x 8 x 12.5 cm. Condition 2
