A Cinquedea

Description: The broad, flat, double-edged blade bears two long fullers and one short central fuller on both sides. Anchor gold filled mark on one side. Flattened quillons curving toward the point. Wooden leather-covered grip reinforced with narrow steel strips. Decorated disc pommel with a bilateral circular cup in the centre which is surrounded by eight oval pits. Italy circa 1500, length 67.5 cm. Pitted. Condition 2-3
