Presentation Hungarian Hussars Broadsword (Pallasch)

Description: Single-edged, straight blade with false edge and central point. On the one side Coat of arms of Hungary Kingdom and "picture" of a hussar on horseback those were etched on the blade accompanied by the text "PRO LIBERTATE" and "Eisenhauer", on the opposite side "VIVAT HUSSAR" with figure of Madonna and double cross. Iron hilt with straight cross-shaped crossguard. Wooden grip covered with leather. Smooth back-piece, boat-shaped pommel with tang nut. Steel plate scabbard, two lockets with movable rings. Hungary, the 1st half of the 19th century, length 103 cm. Condition 2+
